marcus it dont seem real that this happen! i miss the old days of us in loveland. man you were my best friend. you were so amazing when you were with us!!! nothin could make you upset you always made everyone around you happy its so hard to get thru my head that you are gone! i pray everynight and day!!! and everyday that passes is 1 more day closer to seeing you again. i miss you with you i keep in heartits kinda hard with you not around i know your in heaven smiling down! watchin us as we pray for you looking down keeping us safe make sure everyone is smiling and happy! you are always with me no matter where i am at in my heart and on my mind is where i keep you!rest in paradise my brother! i love and miss you everyday more and more!

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Marcus.  I only met him a few times, but Emilio spoke of him often with great pride and admiration.  just reading all of these postings on Marcus, you know he was a remarkable young man.  please give Emilio a hug for me and I will be lifting you all up in prayer.

I am so sorry you lost your son. your nephew, and you grandchild. I only know the pain to well. My heart in heavy and I continue to pray for every single one of you.

While I never met Matthew, I happened to read his obituary in the Coloradoan and was touched by what I read.  He sounds like a wonderful person and my thoughts are with you all.

We do not understand why Marcus was taken by The Lord so early in his life, but find peace in knowing that he is with the Almighty God and that Marcus will be your guardian angel throughout your lives. We knew Marcus through Special Olympics (basketball at Franklin MS) in Greeley.  He was always very courteous and fair to all of the athletes in the program.  He set a great example for all of the kids to follow and will forever be in our memory.  Sincerest condolences to all of the family, especially Matt and Andy.  We love you guys.

Marcus I remember the first time you stopped to see Emilio last summer when I was watching him for your (Dad)Mingo and your Mom Shevy. The two of you had such a great time playing PS3. At that time I don't believe you remembered me,however, you were so respectful and walked over and introduced yourself to me. I know it gave me such great joy to spend time with the 2 of you by myself. Not long after that I got to introduce you to my nephew Trenton and my sister Melissa. Marcus you were such an amazing young man filled with dreams of your own,however, our Lord had bigger plans for you. I know you were excited about Jaayy starting with the wolf pack well now your going to be on the field with him and his team your on thei helmets. My grandkids Analisha, and Isaiah and I , did spend a few precious hours with you at Lakeside and a softball tournament too.  They thought you were the greatest too. Marcus will never ever know how he touched my life, i was having the worst possible day and i just could not get through the day and at one point though during the day an incedent hapened he stood up for me and made sure the person knew what they were doing to me was wrong and he made sure i was okay and every couple days or so he would always be so kind and just ask how i was doing he was just so amazing he has touched my life with just an once of kindness. because of his kindness i make it so that everyday i can pass on the kindness marcus passed on to me.

I first met Marcus in elementary where he was a friend to both of my daughters.  He was the cutest and most energetic boy.  I had not seen Marcus for many years and was so saddened to learn of his untimely death.  My deepest sympathies to Matt and Shevy and to the rest of his family.  My heart hurts for all who loved Marcus-and there were many.

I dont really know how to start out but Marcus was a really great young man and friend to so many people that knew him or came in touch with him. I had so many great memories with Marcus.
