He grew up in various communities around the United States. After marrying the love of his life, Julie, they moved to Thornton in the late 1970’s. Michael cherished the time they had together with such importance.
Michael is survived by his mother Josephine Barnes of Greenville, North Carolina, son Aaron Barnes, sister Lisa Marie Barnes, and brother Bill Barnes.
He is proceeded in death by his sister Mary Jo Barnes.
