

Michael Paul Fleischmann, 67, of Greeley, CO, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026. Born April 7, 1958 in Hutchinson, KS, he was a son of the late Roland W. and Esther May Fleischmann. Mike graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1976 and Colorado State University in 1982 with Degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. He married Diane Reuer from Fort Collins, CO, May 14, 1983.
Mike worked at Hill AFB in Ogden, UT, for 3 years. He consulted in Colorado until 1988 when he started OPTIMUS where he was Director of R&D. He worked for ANSI/AIIM standards organization and also at Hewlett-Packard, Optical Publishing Incorporated, and most recently Keysight in Loveland.
Mike enjoyed photography and would drive to the mountains to take pictures. He liked to dirt bike and repair cars, mowers, and other things that needed to be fixed. He was a “Mike of all trades.” He also enjoyed teaching a home Bible fellowship for many years. He had a sense of humor and enjoyed taking his family to places like Disney World and his wife to Hawaii for an anniversary.
Surviving is his wife of 42 years, children: Daniel (Mary) and baby Mia of Milliken, CO, Kevin (Janet) and baby David of Windsor, CO, Brian of Fort Collins, CO, and his sister Cordelia and her daughter Jennifer of Alabama.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Walt.
A memorial gathering will be held for Mike at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19 in Fort Collins.
