Michael and I were together since we were kids. I remember remodeling the bedrooms with Matt, playing Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts together,  playing in the pool, and riding around in the Metro. He was with me the day that I graduated and commissioned in the military. He stood with Amanda and I at our wedding, visited us in Arlington multiple times and stayed with us in New Mexico. We met in Colorado to help with our animal rescue as well as adopting Chloe and gave her a wonderful, loving life. We talked every day when I was deployed and we would always play games together. Michael got me into all the games I still play and I'll always look back on the fun times Michael, Matthew and I spent together no matter how far apart we would be. 

Michael was my brother and my friend, and would always be there whenever asked. His heart was full of compassion, kindness, and joy. He was with me at every stage of my life and I will miss him, his smile and his laughter most of all. Mom, Dad, Meagan, Matthew and Mandy, thank you having me as part of your family and allowing me to spend so much time with your son and brother. Amanda and I send our deepest sympathies and want you to know we are always here for you.

Best time with Michael for me was our trip to Orlando for his 18th birthday.  I combined it with Mandy's 21st .   We  flew on AA in tiny seats with their knees up to their shoulders.  Awful flight.  But the best was yet to come.  Finding the hotel in pitch black night driving a rental car.  Once there good accommodations and wonerful time.
Michael got over having to deal with my scooter.   We discovered having  handicap vehicle meant we went to head of lines for all rides.   Now I was an asset.  He carried it , loaded it in car and in general took very good care of me.  Lots of laughter on that trip.

At Mandy’s wedding in August 2019, Michael approached Ken and me and spoke with us at length. I thought at the time, what a kind, gentle soul he’s grown up to be. As I look at all the photos you’ve posted of Michael, I also see his humor and the tremendous love he had for his family. I especially like the photos of Michael tenderly holding babies or playing with his nieces and nephews. Thank you for providing so many photos of Michael, from babyhood to adulthood. They are a visual testament to his precious life and the love and support he received from his family and friends. Hugs to Cyndee, Kerry, Meagan, Mandy, Matthew, and all the little ones as you mourn the loss of your dear Michael. 

I was privileged to grow up with one of the greatest best friends in the world. It is hard for me to separate my childhood from my friendship with Michael Kuttler. For years and years, we did everything together. Every weekend was filled with sleepovers, playing Super Mario Brothers until all hours of the morning, eating Panda Express and drinking Martinellis, and then having a home run derby on the driveway. There were times my family probably just assumed I had picked up and moved in with the Kuttlers. We loved hanging out together, even if it was doing nothing at all. Sometimes when I was tired during soccer season, I would go over and just sleep on his couch while he played a video game. It didn't matter because we were just happy to be together. Michael was fiercely loyal to his friends, a selfless listener, incredibly funny, and had an ability and willingness to befriend anyone. He taught me more than I think I will ever fully realize, and because of that I know I will always have Michael with me. I am heartbroken that I won't see him again in this life, but I'm grateful to know that we having a loving Savior and that Michael is back in His arms. I love and miss you, Big M. I look forward to joining you one day for one heck of a movie marathon.

The loss of Michael will be felt by many.  No words can take away the pain of such a loss.  Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  

I am so sorry for your loss. Michael was a wonderful young man and I remember him always smiling. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. 

I’ve been trying to think of one memory to share and it’s just not possible. Our lives have been so intertwined and there are so many special memories. I’m going to choose 2.

First is talking to your mom the day you were born and being so jealous that she had you and I was still pregnant  with Brittany  only to call her the next day to tell her that Brittany was here. I loved watching the 2 of you grow up together! 

Then my last time seeing you. Last year at Mandy’s wedding. It was so fun to visit with you for those few days and to see what an awesome man you had become! I will always be grateful for that time we had. I love you Michael and you will hold a special place in my heart forever. 

When our family moved to Tucson from Montgomery, Alabama, there was no one in the neighborhood who was Brett’s age, so he played with boys much older than him, and they were kind enough to let him do so.  When Michael moved in 2 doors down from us, Brett was thrilled, and Michael and Brett became best buddies from the get-go!
Michael was so easy to love, and our whole family embraced him as one of the family.  He was funny, smart as a whip, helpful, polite, and very engaging!  As a young boy, he was very comfortable talking to adults, and he always seemed interested in whatever you were talking about.
I will always remember the first snow that we experienced in Tucson, and how excited Michael and Brett were to play in it and have a snowball fight when they got out of school.  They spent countless hours together playing in the wash, swimming, watching movies, playing video games, talking about girls, attending church activities, and getting together with other friends from the neighborhood and church.  Michael was in my Sunday School class for years, and he was always extremely polite and engaged.  He had a charm about him that drew others to him, as witnessed by the number of teenagers that often gathered at his house.
I am a photography buff, and I loved that Michael was always taking pictures of his friends and even put together a video of some of their gatherings.
As a family, we are heartbroken that Michael is no longer with us, and we have all cried over his death, but we know that we will see him again and that he is in the arms of our Savior.  We look forward to a joyful reunion with Michael in the next life, and we send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to his family!  

I wish you peace and comfort during this difficult time.  May you find comfort in your loving memories that are so prevalent in the pictures here and can be seen in every one of his smiles.  You have my deepest sympathy.

No words can describe how sorry I am for your loss.  Michael and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.  

I did not know Michael but we were Both couriers for the same company only in different states. I was deeply saddened to learn of the events that led up to his passing. I would like to offer my sincere condolences and prayers to his entire family.
