Michael, also known as "Big Mike," was born on July 1, 1967, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and raised by his parents, Marvin Meadows and Judy O’Gorman. He graduated from Loveland High School and worked as a diesel mechanic for the City of Greeley. He went on to get his CDL and build a career as an over-the-road truck driver. He last worked for Chaparral Enterprises and Indian Creek Express LLC, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Above all else, Michael cherished his family. He worked tirelessly to provide for them and took great pride in being present in their lives. At the time of his passing, he was lovingly raising four of his grandsons, a role he embraced with deep commitment and care. He found joy in the outdoors, especially fly fishing and camping, and was known for his spontaneous spirit and generous heart. Michael was always willing to help others, even when he had little for himself.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Hernandez-Meadows; his children, Lorraine, Jon Meadows, Jordyn Jones, Jahveya Meadows, and Michael Meadows; and his stepchildren, Victoria Cruz Solorzano (Marc), April Roybal (Anthony), and John Cruz (Abby). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Jalisa, Gabriella, Uriah, Rudy, Isaac, Isabella, Jacob, Anthony Jr., Raymond, Hallie, Savior, Gabriel, and one grandson on the way.
Mike is also survived by his sisters, Debbie Frazier, Terry Sauer, Vicki Leece, and Sharon Meadows.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Meadows and Judy O’Gorman; his sister, Nancy Moore, his grandson, Patrick Solorzano, and his childhood best friend, Rodney Meyers.
