

Oscar Sanchez, 62, of Greeley, Colorado entered the gates of heaven into a new life on January 8, 2018. He was a proud military veteran who served his country in Frankfort, Germany from June 1973 until December 1976, after being honorably discharged. Through his journey in life he was limited to a wheelchair. Oscar remained a strong believer and was committed to Christ, as he read the Bible daily. Oscar will be remembered for his favorite band Earth, Wind, and Fire, his dance, the German Hustle, and of course “Mountain Dew” he loved it when his parents took him apple and peach pie. Oscar was an amazing man that his family and friends loved very much.
Oscar is survived by daughters Natasha Keene (Bryan) and Ariann Walker (Mark); grandchildren Rory Simmons, Grace Walker, Moriah Walker, and Josiah Walker; parents Victor and Dora Padilla; brothers Danny, Paul, Robby, Pete and Lupe; sisters Anita, Chon, Olga, Patty, Kim and Molly; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Oscar also had many friends. Special heartfelt thank you to J Bacon, Oscar’s best friend, and his caregivers Maria and Christine for their relentless out pouring love and generosity.
