

Pauline Virginia (Lindsey) Brookhart was born in Knox County Missouri to Samuel and Cora Bell Lindsey on October 31, 1924, and went to be with the Lord on April 5th, 2020 after a long battle with dementia.
Pauline married Jack Brookhart on January 17, 1945. Jack and Pauline eventually settled in Colorado. They have four children; Jan(Jerry) Fry, Ken (Margaret) Brookhart, Vickie Kimes, and Jay (LaVon) Brookhart.
The most important job Pauline had was being a wife and Mother. She worked in Missouri at a shoe factory and glove factory. She worked for Poudre School District in the kitchens. Pauline also managed the Stonecrest and Budget Host Motels for many years. Pauline enjoyed quilting, crafts, fishing, playing music with her family, card games, and the most important thing was just being with her family and friends. She loved cooking meals and having as many over that could come. Her fried chicken and noodles were the best!
Pauline is survived by her four kids, two daughters-in-law; grandchildren, Paul, Shana, Karen, Nikki, Aj, Samantha, Nick, Kurt and Kayla; twelve great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren. There are several step grandchildren as well. Sister, Annabel Stonemets; and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Brookhart; her parents Samuel and Cora Bell Lindsey; sister, Helen; brothers, Lee, Ray, Guy, Noble, Curt, and Jim; Great-granddaughter Kaylee; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
