Beautiful, beloved mother, grandmother, wife and teacher

Pearl Agnes Cline Haley was born in Florida, Oct. 1, 1927 to Ruth and Bailus Cline. She and her late husband John L. Haley lived in Greeley over 60 years and raised three children; Kevin Haley, Kirk Haley and Sharon Haley Linhart. She has two loving daughters-in-law, Kevin’s wife, Shelly Haley, and Kirk’s wife, Cindy Haley, and a son-in-law Gerald (Jerry) Linhart. She adored her five grandchildren; Kathleen Everitt, Lauren Haley, Jennifer Reiher, Brian Haley and Keith Haley; and eight great-grandchildren, all living in Northern Colorado.

Pearl graduated from the University of Florida with a home economics degree in 1949 and received her masters degree in special education from the University in Northern Colorado in 1982. She taught students with learning disabilities in Greeley’s School District Six and was a member of the Assistance League of Greeley.

Pearl married John L. Haley in Moose, Wyoming September 17, 1949 and renewed their vows there on their 50th wedding anniversary in 1999. During their marriage, they traveled extensively, but Colorado was their beloved home. John was a partner in a successful Greeley-based engineering firm, Nelson, Haley, Patterson and Quirk founded in 1959. With Pearl’s assistance, John wrote a book about the Glenwood Canyon’s Interstate Highway 70 completion, after he consulted on project as a civil engineer, and the book is dedicated to her. An avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan, Pearl’s true passion was her family and her happiest moments were celebrating family holidays or hanging out watching a game together. She moved to Grace Pointe along with her kitty Tinkerbell in 2015.

She is deeply loved and her legacy and treasured memories live on.

For memorial contributions, the family suggests Pathways Hospice or Assistance League of Greeley.

My memories of Aunt Pearl, was her, as a quiet observer. Happy to observe the interaction of the family when we were together. She had a small quiet laugh and big blue eyes. She was always a beautiful, sweet lady.
Much love to our Colorado family.

Pearl has been a special part of my life since meeting her daughter in White Hall at the University of Wyoming.

Joseph and I, and all my siblings and family send our love to all of Pearl’s family.

We are so grateful to have been able to know her and call her our friend.
