Peggy Sue Barnett-Dungey passed away peacefully on May 31, 2017 in Pearland, Texas. Peggy was born in 1929 to Harris H. and Johanna Mitchell and was raised in Illinois. The family moved to Greeley in 1953 where Peggy met and married F.H. (Pat) Barnett. They raised two sons and two daughters in the Greeley area and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Peggy and Pat moved to Arizona in 1980 where they lived until Pat’s passing on December 13, 1989. Peggy later met and married William Dungey, and they moved to Texas in 2009 where they resided together until William’s passing on October 20, 2009.
A loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mother, Peggy is survived by her two sons, Craig and Brian, two daughters, Colleen and Sharon, one sister, Naomi and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
