She grew up in Montana, where she graduated from high school.
On May 27, 1950, she was united in marriage to Kenneth D. Surratt, at Shelby, Montana.
Phebe worked as a telephone operator in Shelby, Montana and later for Samsonite in Denver. She worked as a nurse’s aide in Greeley and at the Brighton Hospital. Phebe was the owner and cook of Have-A-Snack in Fort Lupton, among other jobs.
Left to continue to love her in our hearts are her husband, Kenneth; children Dan Surratt and wife Karen of Colorado Springs, Connie Surratt of Loveland, Sandy Olivas of Greeley, and Randy Surratt and wife Diane of Greeley; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Also a host of friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Gertrude Lambott, Mildred Benjamin, Marjorie Clouser, and Lillian Benjamin; six brothers, Clarence, Wesley, Wallace, Norman, Harry, and Donald.

A visitation will be 1:00-4:00 pm Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, July 6, 2020 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment will be 11:30 am Monday July 6, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
