We were given the gift of life with Phillip Lujan on May 23, 1989. Now we must give him back. On July 3, 2017, Phillip went with our Dear Lord and Savior surrounded by his family at home. Phillip was 28 years old.
Phillip attended school at Northridge High School in Greeley and graduated from Aims. As a young child he enjoyed going fishing with his Uncle Juan and brother Angelo. He was a skateboard enthusiast who went through many skateboards, trucks and shoes. He was a regular at his eye doctor because his glasses had to be replaced often. That was true even as he got older.
Phillip was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and nephew but more importantly a loving Daddy to his two daughters, Envy and Willow. He received the sacrament of Baptism and Confirmation at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
He enjoyed working in his garden and picking strawberries with Envy. His pets included his cat, Lollypop and his dog, Tickel. Both of whom were named by Envy.
Phillip was loved by many. He was carefree and liked to make people laugh. Brittany called him her third child. He will be remembered with love and kindness. God took a beautiful soul home.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Brittany Wethington of Greeley; daughters, Envy and Willow Lujan
both of Greeley; parents, David and Betty Lujan of Greeley; sisters, Regina (Juan) Garcia of Greeley; brothers, David II, Christian and Angelo Lujan all of Greeley; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces and extended family members, Nikky Valencia, Leandra Ramirez, Michele Trujillo Valencia, Devin Archuleta and John Sena.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Faustine and Ida Valencia and Evelyn Lucero.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. both at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
