Phillip served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Maria Zamarripa of Queen Creek; daughters, Lori M. Armijo of Queen Creek, Rosalie Gray and Nicholas Gray both of Brush, Colorado, Lorraine and Ernie Armijo of Denver Colorado; step-daughters, Sherrill Jojola (Jerry Jaszczyk) of Arvada, Colorado and Wendy Jojola of Fargo, North Dakota; sisters, Donna Lopez, Susan Martinez and Geri Dias; half-brother, George Zamarripa, 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred Zamarripa.
Phillip enjoyed fishing, hunting, poker, gambling, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Recitation
of the Rosary will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2021 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. both at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnstown, Colorado. Interment Johnstown Cemetery.
