Phyllis Alfreda Johnson

Phyllis was born in Greeley, Colorado April 29th, 1933. She graduated from Gill High School in 1951 and went on to marry LeRoy Johnson that September. After spending 4 years as an Air Force wife, they settled down in Greeley in 1956 and raised their 4 children on the farm. Her husband passed in 2006.

Together they ran a family farm with their main crop being onions. Phyllis loved sewing, raising animals, cooking excellent meals, going to church and visiting the senior center.

Phyllis thrived on loving and taking care of people. She was devoted to her family and friends and was always there for anyone who needed her.

Phyllis will be remembered for her patience and compassion for everyone she met.

Phyllis is survived by her son LeRoy Johnson Jr. (Irma); her daughter Lane Henricks (Vern); her daughter Laura Cornell (Bryan); her son Lyndon Johnson (Derinda); her brother Jack Larson (IlaMae); 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Johnson.
