Well if truth be told,  I have no memories of Ralph Norwood Riggs to offer. What I do have in my possession at this moment,  is a copy of Missionary Riggs book, "The Spirit Himself. " I can't honestly say where I got it at. I'm always on the lookout for "religious" books at book sales wherever I can find them,  particularly if they're about the Holy Spirit. So, I thought I'd go online to research Missionary Riggs. I'm enjoying the book very much. In fact it has been a blessing to me. I'm sure I would have enjoyed listening to his teachings. Be blessed.

I just read that Woody passed away, I used to work for him 1991-1993. I am truly sorry for your lost.

Dear Carol, Tripper, and Maggie,
My heart is broken for you all.  I just received a card from Jenny in which she included Woody's obituary.  She also said the church was packed at his service.  This does not surprise me at all, as he along with the rest of you, have touched so many lives. I am so sorry that Derek was not able to come down and represent our family.  I have yet to tell him as I only found out today.  Woody's picture looks just like the last time I saw him almost 10 years ago.  I still think of him everytime I hear something about Ohio State or see a picture of a Porsche roadster.  Bill and I were just talking this weekend how Woody would cross-country ski with Tripper on his back.  Again, I am so sorry for your loss.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do, although I feel pretty helpless 1000 miles away.  If you ever want to talk, I still have the same number or  we could touch base on email.  You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am truly sorry for your loss.  I really wish i would have made more time to get to know woddy.  I met him a few times and each time i met him things just got better and better.  I could tell he was the greatest father ever because he was just soooooooooooo funny!  and i know hes up in heaven making even more people laugh. I was so sorry to hear about your loss.  I am retired as the controller at Roche Constructors (1976-1997) and in that position worked for many years with Woody.  He was a pleasure to work with and his easy-going approach to life was an inspiration.  My prayers are with you all.  Pam Habrock

I was a student at University High School, as well as an employee for Woody for a summer.  Through countless hours of talking at work, I got to know him pretty well.  There's not a single time that I can remember when he didn't have a big smile on his face.  He was such a fun guy to be around.  He really cared about people and went out of his way to help them.  He touched the lives of all those around him, sometimes without even realizing it.  Those of us who knew him are thankful because we are better people for it.  I am deeply saddened by his loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We are so so so sorry to hear about Woody's death.  I (Amy) was Tripper's age when my dad passed away at 54 also. I'm sorry we're not able to attend the memorial due to the fact I'm in San Francisco.   Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  God Bless
