Reba Fay Rimbert, 93, passed away on June 20th, 2022. Born September 5th, 1928 to Agnes Pearl Hutchins and William Frank Gordon in Gypsum, Colorado. Reba attended Gypsum High School. Reba lived all over the state of Colorado, she lived in Gypsum from 1928 until 1984. She then moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1989 and lived there till 2016. In 2016 she moved to Meredith, Colorado and lived there until she moved to Sterling, Colorado in 2022. On December 2nd, 1944 Reba married Louis Frank Rimbert in San Diego, California. Together they had four daughters; Billie, Cheryl, Susan and Heidi.
Reba was a very hard working woman, she worked for 30 years a waitress. She loved people and enjoyed the socialization that she got from her job. Not only did Reba love to serve food to people, she loved to cook and bake for them as well. Reba poured her heart and hard work into everything she did; most notably the level of care and attention to detail she put into her garden. Reba attended the Gypsum Methodist Church services for over 20 years before moving. Reba’s family was her world, she loved spending time with her grand, great and great-great grandchildren any chance she got.
Reba is survived by her daughters; Billie Harris, Cheryl Cowden, Susan Miller, Heidi Mathews, sister; Beuna Eichler, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Reba is preceded in death by her parents; William and Agnes Gordon as well as her husband, Louis Frank Rimbert.
