Rebecca Ann Jones

Rebecca Ann "Becky" Jones, 69, of Greeley, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Hospice Of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit. She was born May 30, 1943 to Ruben and Alvina (Hamburg) Troudt in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

Becky came to Greeley as an infant, where she grew up. Following her education, she started working. She worked at Sanitary Laundry, Bayley Manufacturing, and most recently for StarTek. She was a quality control inspector.

She married Dale Jones on August 9, 1973 at St. Paul's Congregational Church.

Becky bravely battled breast cancer for nine years, with the total support, encouragement and love of her husband. Her love for her family was the focus of her life. She was very involved in helping raise and care for her nieces and nephews. Becky was like their second mother. She was confirmed and was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church. Becky was a member of the Hill N Park Senior Center, where she belonged to Happy Hookers Sewing Club.

She is survived by her husband Dale; three sisters, Carol Fraiser (Alex) of Grand Junction, Erma Dimmick (Laython) and Juli Rivest (Roger), all of Greeley; four brother Jim Troudt (June) of Converse, Texas, Ronald Troudt (Darlene) of Brighton, Thomas Troudt (Susan) of Greeley, and Denis Troudt (Lisa) of Windsor. Also survived by her very dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration Of Life will be 12:00 noon Friday, June 22, 2012 at Hill-N-Park Senior Center, 4205 Yosemite Drive, Greeley.

Inurnment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
