Refugia married Frank LeDoux and together they raised seven children. The family moved from Texas to Longmont in the 60s and have resided in Colorado ever since.
Refugia was a passionate woman, very loving and very stubborn. She was funny, caring and accepting. She loved dancing and watching her novelas. Refugia became everyone’s mom once they met her.
She is survived by her two boys, five girls, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, five brothers and one sister.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her parents, and a brother, Doroteo, and a sister, Carmela.
A rosary for Refugia will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Allnutt Funeral & Cremation - Macy, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634. A reception will occur at Promontory Apartments, 10306 W. 20th Street, Greeley, CO 80634.
