Dear Sondra, 
What a blessing you and Howard were to us at Westmister. In 1985, I had returned home from Tech and gotten my first job, and was preparing to marry  for the first time. Dad was not at all happy, but Howard, in his wisdom, persuaded Dad to be part of the ceremony. I will never forget both your steadfast encouragement during that time. Dad also passed away last summer after suffering with Alzheimers. He appreciated Howard too. Thank you for being Jesus' hands and feet. Your reward will be great in heaven. Grave and peace as you go through these days.

Sondra,  I was so sorry to hear about Howard.  I am glad I had the opportunity to know both you of you.  I think of you often when I go into church and into the women's class. You both offered so much wisdom and laughter to our church.  I know we should be glad that Howard is home, but I know it will be hard not to have him with you each day.  I pray that you and your family will be comforted by the Holy Spirit and that you will be aware of the many prayers being lifted up for you.

Dear Sondra; Linda and I were so sad to here about Howard's passing. He married us 30 years ago this year. Both you and Howard are so important in our Christian journey. Even though we haven't talk to Howard or you in a while, both of  you have always been in our thoughts and prayers. He is home now, no more pain, just being able to throw a drag free cast! one more fish to land. We have and will always be thankful for your guidance in two very young Christian's lives. May God grant you the peace to know of a life will spent for a great man.

We thank God for the wonderful times we got to spend with Howard and Sondra while they were at Westminster.  Such sweet, dedicated, sincere people.  Heaven gained a true saint and I'm sure he's enjoying his new home immensely.  He is now under ""his apple tree"", thinking of the hymn he loved so much.

Sondra, you and Howard have always been so kind to our family. I will always remember the Christmas Eve we spent with you at Clay's house when our littlest was only 2 1/2 weeks old. We have always enjoyed seeing both of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. I know Howard will be sorely missed, but thanking God for His place in heaven for him.

Sad to hear of Howard's passing.  We think of you folks often and with great pleasure and love.  Have missed you so much but know how happy he was in the mountains.  Sondra I can only guess you enjoyed it as well.  He was so good to me when I was having difficulties and so patient and understanding.  Also did a wonderful funeral service for my dad whom he had never met.  What a guy!...We will forever keep your family in our hearts tho I have never met Ben, Sam was a youth leader with Amy Jubba at Westminster, Jake was a few years younger than Toby but still remember him well.  I had worn a turtle neck with scotty dogs on it and he wanted to know where to get it as it was Christmas and thought it would be a good gift for you Sondra.  So many memories of you teaching Bethel, painting the sweatshirt for you, and your happy smile which I see on your sisters face now at First Presbyterian.
