Richard was born on January 4, 1981, in Denver, Colorado, to Linda Cook and William Cook. He grew into a man who had a genuine ability to connect with others. Richard never knew a stranger—he had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and was a friend to many.
Richard found joy in the outdoors, especially hunting, where he appreciated both the adventure and the peace that nature provided.
Above all else, Richard's greatest pride and accomplishment was his son, Boden Cole Cook. Being Boden's father brought him immense happiness, and the love he had for his son was evident in everything he did.
Richard is survived by his beloved son, Boden Cole Cook; his parents, Linda (Steve) and William Cook; and his brothers, Anthony Cook and Cliff Cook. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his memory and miss his kind heart, easy smile, and unwavering loyalty.
Richard will be remembered for his warmth, his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and especially in the life of his son, whom he loved beyond measure.
