Richard Karl Wiechers

Richard was born July 26th 1952 in Napoleon Ohio to Karl and Oneta (Neuenschwander) Wiechers. Richard graduated from Napoleon Highschool in 1970 where he was a star wrestler all four years. Richard then moved to Colorado and married Mary Christine Adams on August 2nd 1975 and had three daughters (Mirra and twins Amber and Karah). Richard owned and operated a successful glass and screen business ‘Twin Peaks Glass & Screen’ for over 25 years in Longmont, CO where he made many longtime friends. Richard retired in October 2016 and moved to Walden, CO to reside with his daughter Karah.

Richard was a hard worker his entire life who loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, cooking/food, music, watching his daughter play roller derby, rooting for the Broncos and nascar; he was carefree, always had great humor and loved his practical jokes.

Richard was proceeded in death by his daughter Amber Wiechers and Granddaughter Kylie Hedelius. Richard is survived by daughters Mirra (Dan) Hedelius, Karah (David) Wiechers, Grandchildren Shaya Montanto, Jaydin and Amber Hedelius, and Eli Garza. Parents Karl and Oneta Wiechers, siblings Mike Wiechers, Peg Snyder, Deb Thompson, Jeff Wiechers, and Tina DelFavero and numerous nieces and nephews.
