Robert was born at Northern Colorado Medical Center, now Banner Medical Center, in Greeley, Colorado to Jerry Lee and Joyce Charlene Carr on September 20, 1954. Robert graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1974 and worked for Safeway Stores, Inc. until his retirement.
Robert was a lifetime member of the Hillside Baptist Church, now known as One Hope Baptist Church, in Greeley. Robert's life was centered around his faith in Christ and his relationships with family, and friends. Robert was an avid reader, enjoying the classics, history, science fiction and theology, especially relating to the study of the end times.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Jerry Lee Carr and his mother Joyce Charlene Carr of Greeley Colorado.
Robert is survived by his brother Jerry Ray Carr and his wife Carla and their son Lance Carr and daughter Teresa Cralley and their families, and his brother John Tracy Carr and his wife Evie and his sons Michael Carr and Raymond John (R.J) Carr and their families.
