Robert Lee Norris

Robert Lee Norris, 93 of Eaton, CO, passed away March 12, 2017 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, CO. Robert was born December 9, 1923 in Woodston, KS to Luther Roy and Ella B. (Rector) Norris. He married Marjorie Cozzens in February of 1948 in Denver. She died February 24, 1990. He later married Donette Siemers Gerrard on May 1, 1994 in Greeley.

Robert attended high school in Greeley. He started his own transport company and drove long haul, coast to coast, for over 40 years, along with other endeavors and businesses of his own. He served in the United States Navy from 1942-1946, Aviation Machinist Mate, First Class.

Robert loved animals, was very patriotic and supported Veterans. He enjoyed being on the open road in his motor home.

He is survived by his wife Donette Norris; and brothers Glen and Richard Norris.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Bill Norris and sister Evelyn “Pearl” Stoll.
