

Robert R. “Bob” Ostrander, Sr., 85, of Greeley, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at North Colorado Medical Center. He was born March 16, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York to Walter and Dorothy (Warren) Ostrander.
Bob moved to Nunn, Colorado in 1970 with his wife Pat and two children. He retired from Woodward Governor.
Bob and Pat were married in 1951. They were married for 54 years, before Pat passed away in 2005.
Bob was a man of faith. He served in the US Marines during the Korean War. He enjoyed collecting coins, stamps and Pez Candy.
Bob made sure that his wife and kids were taken care of and their needs were met. His sense of humor and his laugh were contagious. He loved his grandsons very much.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Dolly (Michael) Lang; son, Robert Ostrander, Jr., sisters, Ruth Atshaves, Carol (John) Gray and Elenor Wernerspatch; brothers, Phillip Foley and Edward (Sheri) Foley; grandchildren, Matthew and Jeffrey (Terri) Lang; two great-grandsons, Eythan and Peyton Lang and nieces and nephews including a special niece, Annie Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Pat, sister, Peggy Coady, brother, William “Billy” Ostrander, sister-in-law, Betsy Ostrander and brother-in-law, Peter Atshaves..
