Dear Lynne Ann, from one daddy's girl to another daddy's girl, my sincere condolences.  I loved your daddy too - he was always so much fun to be around and his smile and twinkling eyes were just a small part of what made him so special.  I remember the times your folks and mine would get together and how much we all enjoyed them. Mike and I enjoyed playing cards with them when they were in Fort Collins.  I was so glad I was able to talk with him before he left us. Give your mom a hug from me too.  Love and hugs to you,

Bob is my Grandfather. We had many great times together. It was an honor to have him at my college graduation. Our best times together were  playing golf. Bob was real good and always a gentleman on the course. We played the course at Shalimar many times with my Grandmother Ireene, my mom Lynne and my dad Tim. He was really proud of his hole in one he got at the Pepperwood golf course and would show off the award he got often. I will never forget my Grandpa Pearson and will always love him with all my heart.

Bob was a complete delight to my life, a wonderful man and I loved him very much. I knew that when I was with him that I was going to laugh ALL the time. We had so much fun at Fat Tire Brewery, and hiking in Brown County State Park in Indiana where he almost knocked my Aunt Marg in the stream. There were so many delightful times that I could write a book. He was a  delight to everyone around  
him and will be missed by all, especially me. Just remember. everyone loved your Dad, Lynne, and you were fortunate to have him for a father.

My memories of Bob are too numerous to even begin to list. Over 40 years worth actually. Most of them have stories too lengthy to tell. Lots of pinochle games trying to ""shoot the moon."" He delighted in beating your mother and of course, I probably did too. Many sports games over the years and he was a fun person to be with. Particularly cheering for CSU. I've missed his smile and playfulness over the years, but feel happy he is now in a better place and not going through the confusion and sickness of the last few years. I will always have good memories of him because he was a good friend to me.

The other night, my three year old daughter, Kate was having a hard time going to sleep, so I told her something that Lynne told me her father used to tell her, ""close your mouth and close your eyes and see what happens.""  Gentle, comforting wisdom like this is what I remember about Grandpa Bob, and what I will pass on to Kate.

I worked at Golden Peaks where I was lucky enough to work with Bob and Irene. Within the hour of meeting them I fell in love with both. The next day I brought my six year old sister,Madeline, into meet them and we both still talk about them to this day. I'm sad to see Bob go, but I know he is no longer in pain. He will be missed and be remembered for century's to come.

Dear Lynne,
We feel very blessed to have met your Dad.  Being around him it was clear that he enjoyed life and had a positive out-look and energy which he shared with us.  In that short time he made a lasting impression on us.  Emma still knows him as 'Grandpa Bob' even though my Dad is also named Bob.  In reading the other guest book remarks and memories, he clearly was well loved.

I was about 10 when Bob returned from the war. I remember the first time I saw him.   I was sitting on our front porch steps, when he & my sister Irene walked up.  I thought he was so nice looking and I had a young girl ""crush"" on him for a long time.  He was one of my favorite brothers-in-law.  He will be missed.

I always looked forward to the Pioneer Association's Annual Colorado Day Picnic at City Park in Fort Collins to see my delightful friend Bob Pearson.  Hearing the stories of baby Lynne Ann and baby Linda on a bed sleeping while our parents played cards in the other room.  To, once again, reuniting later in life. My only wish is that you all could have lived in Ft. Collins during my entire life. Lynne, I'm so sorry to learn of our world's loss of your Dad.  He was a delightful man!  I always remember playing solitaire with you and your Mom in Devil's Slide, while your Dad ""left us girls"" in the kitchen.  Driving down that canyon to go to church on Sunday's during the construction required his patience!  I always enjoyed or times together! Fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookies for Bob's lunch that you took from the freezer just in time to bake them for him, the times Lynne took care of my three little ones when I needed a rest, the clothes out on the line  to dry, the helpful couple next door that guided an inexperienced mom with her kids. Lynn, Thank you so much for all of your updates over the years  This has allowed us to follow with you the chronology of Bob and Irene??Ts activities before and after as  they made the last trip back to Fort Collins. 
It was 1955 when  we moved to Fort Collins and  joined the  Hanna Street community and your Mom and Dad were among  the first to welcome us on board.  For the next six years we lived there we shared many activities together and life was good. 
When Bob and Irene  moved to Salt Lake City we still kept in touch.  I will always remember our friendship and time together.  I was so pleased to know that Bob  had the opportunity to visit  World War Memorial in Washington DC. We were delighted when you and Tim brought Bob and Irene to visit with some years ago.

I am sad to hear of Bob's passing as I have great memories of Devil's slide and visiting their house. They babysat me and I loved visiting them!! I still remember going there. Tim and I were priviledged to meet and become acquainted with Bob a few years ago when Lynne and Tim were visiting friends near us in Arizona. We remember Bob as a very gentle and intelligent person who connected with those around him.

Uncle Bob sent us small Chinese silk pajamas, slippers, and chop sticks while serving in China. We Colorado farm girls were thrilled with our exotic gifts! We will miss our dear uncle.

My Uncle Bob is the source of many happy memories from my childhood on to adulthood.   A truly cheerful man and a good big buddy to a little boy.   He took me for my only rides in a car with a rumble seat, taught me and my own children how to make willow whistles and other cool toys.  We have been truly blessed for the pleasure of his company and we will dearly miss him.

We extend our sincere condolences to the Pearson family. Bob will be greatly missed. I will cherish the memory of Bob feeding the horses on Shields with Lynne and Bob during our daily walk. Bob also provided a memorable historic tour of downtown Fort Collins. You are in our hearts forever.

Sorry to read of this family loss. Our personal condolences to Lynn, Family & Friends. It was a priveledge to know Bob when He visited here and walked the Diamond Lake with his daughter Lynn , a dear friend indeed .
