Roger Lee Vargo

Roger, the middle of three sons, learned early on to fight for what was right. He took that experience and joined the Army and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1975. Roger returned home to Denver, CO where he married the love of his life, Isabell Gurley, on October 11, 1975. Through their forty-six years together their love and family grew.

Roger worked as a carpenter, airframe mechanic, and technology manufacturing technician for over thirty years before retiring to the family farm. Roger spent his time restoring rental properties and binge-watching gameshows with his beloved granddaughter, Hannah.

Roger passed away Sunday, December 9, at NCMC in Greeley, CO, surrounded by his wife, brother, daughter (Layla) and son-in-law (Derek).

Roger is survived by his loving wife Isabell; brother, Robert; two daughters, Layla (Derek), and daughter Hannah, and Jody (Alfred); four children. Not to forget dogs, Charlie and Thor.

Roger is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, father, best friends, (Jim McCormick and Mike Current) and many four-legged family members through the years.

Roger will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
