Buddy, along with me and my twin Dan (lived on Union Street), and Sid and Billy Smith (lived on Munson Street) grew up together and were real good friends.  When I got out of the army Bud and I would meet and have a beer together at the Eagle Hotel.  Later years I would see him at the Oatkafest and catch up on times.  I remember the good ole days and events with Bud like it was yesterday.  I am very sorry to hear about Buddy and send his family my condolences.

Bud - you will forever be missed. I wish we could have done more to keep you here. Your family is in my prayer's.

To Marietta and the Bower family, know that you are not alone in your grief.  We will try to remember the good times and laughter that he brought to our lives.  Perhaps those memories will help us through this time of sadness.

Bud bought our house on 23E in Loveland from us and I ask God's comfort and peace be with his wife and children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and family and friends.

My heart aches for your loss but I have fond memories of good times together....famiy gatherings, your wedding, Sunday dinners, and holidays... much sharing and many laughs.  Thanks Bud.

Marietta, I am so sorry to hear of Bud's death, I hope you and Bud's family find strength from his memories. He was probably my first friend and I have such great memories of our childhoods together on Union Street. We went all the way through school together and even signed up to go in the military together. He will always bring a smile to my face as I relive our common pasts. Take care Marietta. Love, Bob

I didn't know Bud very well. He was a co-worker of my Mom(also a bus driver) and he was a supportive Dad who came to watch his daughter, Julie, and our team, play softball. 
But I do know his daughter, Julie, and she is a woman of character, who has a big heart...especially for her family, and I'm sure she learned those traits, and many more, from her Dad! 
I'm very sorry for the loss your family has suffered, and will pray that you are comforted by the good memories he left behind!
