Roleta was raised alongside her three sisters and later graduated from Weld Central High School in Colorado. On July 12, 1959, she married Douglas Weidenkeller, and together they built a loving life and family until his passing in 2001. They raised two children and, after Douglas retired, the couple opened and operated their own furniture upholstery shop.
Roleta was a woman of faith and service. She faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher and Missionette leader at First Assembly of God, where she touched the lives of many children and families. She enjoyed fishing and camping, and she especially loved sewing and creating things with her hands.
She is survived by her children, Vern Weidenkeller (Mona) and Valerie Stevens (Mike); her grandchildren, Vanessa Weidenkeller, Jennifer Greenwell, and Michael Stevens; two great-grandchildren; and her youngest sister, Yonnie Cross.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Elsie Cross; her husband, Douglas Weidenkeller; and her sisters, Edith Lawrence and Thelmalene Cross.
Roleta will be remembered for her faith, love for family, and hardworking spirit.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home.
