Ron was raised in Johnstown, graduating from Johnstown High School. He worked as a truck driver and a flagger with a construction company. He loved muscle trucks and cars and his Peter Bilt and Harley.
Ron is survived by his wife Norma Jean Dixon; sons, James and Calvin Dixon and John Wesley; sisters, Rhonda White and Lori Maggard; brother, Les Dixon and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
