Ruby attended school in Padroni, Colorado. She worked for various retail stores in Sterling and Greeley. On June 18, 1949, she married John Mora in Sterling. She was a member of the Sterling VFW Auxiliary. She volunteered for many years at the City of Greeley Downtown Library.
Ruby is survived by two daughters, Monica Mora and Marilyn Mora; two sisters, Sally Abbott and Vivian Perales; one brother, Ray Vasquez; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, two sisters, Elizabeth and Edna and her brother, Frank.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home, Greeley, Colorado. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley, Colorado.
