I worked with Ruth at Michaels for some time and we shared many, many laughs.  She was always a bright star on gloomy days.  Her smile, humor, and love of the arts lifted everyone around her.  I am all in that she is winning every pull she takes.  Ruth, you will always be with us.

I was saddened to hear the news today from Ruth's friends at Michael's. I worked with Ruth at Michael's for several years.  Even though I have not worked there for a couple of years, Ruth would always say Hello and chat with me whenever I came in to shop.  She was a lovely creative lady.  I am so sorry for your loss.

I never met you Stephen, but I got to work with Ruth at Michaels for a few months. Her warm smile lit up the room and it was always a fun day when Ruth was there. Customers and employees both enjoyed her company. We Michaels' employees are sorry for your loss and will miss her.

Steve and family, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ruth's death. Her grandfather, Knute Ellingboe, was my great Uncle. We shared our genealogy and I am so glad to have met her via email. Believe it or not, I have a vivid memory of Ruth. We went to grade school together at Adams Elementary in Minneapolis. I can still remember her smile and gracious demeanor. Profound condolences to the entire family.

Ruthie and Steve were my neighbors for years and I enjoyed every minute hanging out with Ruthie in the courtyard. My family also was the benefactors of her wonderful homemade crafts, which I will cherish forever.  I will miss her more than I can say. She was a true friend and I will miss that sparkle in her eye and her hugs.

To Ruth's family:  My husband and I are so sorry to hear of your loss.  We pray that you look toward God's grace during this most difficult time.

The world will be void of a special person that filled the room with the admiration that you both shared.  Through remembering times together will always keep her alive in everyone's heart. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray the Lord will strengthen you, console you, and tenderly hold you in His loving arms.  With heartfelt sympathy.

Every time I saw Ruth, she was always so sweet. I have worked with her husband, Stephen, for many years and know how much he loved and admired Ruth. Many times Ruth made the ladies in the office wonderful hand crafted gifts for Christmas. She was so talented and Stephen talked about how much she enjoyed her crafting. I know she loved her ceramics studio and teaching others to make beautiful things. I understand that Stephen and Ruth had a wonderful weekend last week. I am so glad they had such a great time together before the Lord called her home. I know that she will be missed by all her family and friends. Just remember the wonderful impact she had on so many people. May God be with you all through this tough time.

Although I never met Ruth, I work with her husband, Steve. One year, Ruth made and sent with him Christmas ornaments for we gals in the office. I still have mine and always will. I am so sad to hear of Ruth's sudden passing. My deepest and most sincere condolences go out to Steve and to Ruth's family and friends.
