Sandra was raised by Nancy and Cary Maes but was very close to her sisters Sarah and Kyra. Although she traveled briefly, she attended schools in Greeley. Sandra graduated from Weld Opportunity High School in 2001. After high school, Sandra was able to be a stay-at-home mother and was devoted to raising three boys, Gavin, James and Xavier, and God-Son Rasheed. Sandra attended Aims Community College to study for CNA. She worked at Teletech for seven years, where she made a lot of special friends. Sandra was able to see her granddaughter Selene be born and enjoyed every moment the two of them shared. Sandra was always very friendly and made everyone she knew laugh. Sandra was the type of person to be there when you needed a laugh, a movie quote, or a shoulder to cry on. She never shied away from helping a friend or family member in need.
Sandra was special to us in so many ways. She was a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. We had the privilege of knowing this beautiful soul while she was here, we look forward to seeing her again.
Sandra is survived by her parents Nancy and Cary Maes of Greeley. Charlie and Kim Archuleta of Arizona City. Siblings Melanie Rivera, Rocket Archuleta, Sarah Archuleta, Nathan Valencia (Jamie Valencia), and Kyra Archuleta (Riley Garza). Three sons, Gavin Archuleta, James Ruff, and Xavier Ruff. Nephews Rasheed Garza-Archuleta and Charles Bridge and many more nieces and nephews. Granddaughter Selene Archuleta.
A Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
