Santos Flores, 78, of Greeley passed away January 25, 2016 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. He was born January 15, 1938 in rural Fall City, Karnes County, Texas to Aurelio and Maria (Lopez) Flores. Santos grew up in Texas and moved with his family to Colorado in 1969.
Santos worked various jobs for many years including Schaeffer Rehabilitation. He also worked for Sweetheart Broom Company in Loveland until his health started to fail. He attended school at Envision for several years.
Santos loved gardening, ceramics and painting with water colors. He always kept very busy, he loved to help people and was a very nice, respectable and loveable person.
Santos is survived by two sisters Carol Gutierrez (Alex) of Loveland and Carmelia Valencia of Midland, Texas; four brothers Lee Flores (Bobbie) of Greeley, Roy Flores of Greeley, Joe Flores of Greeley and Henry Flores (Janna) of Loveland; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Amalia and Eloisa and a brother Fred.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
