Shannon Marie Thompson

Shannon was born February 11, 1932 to Howard and May (Anderson) Naylor and was raised in Chadron, NE. She graduated from Chadron Prep (High) School in 1950. She moved to Denver, CO in 1957 to raise her two sons. In 1974 she graduated from the Radiology program at St. Anthony’s Central Hospital in Denver as an X-Ray technician. Shannon worked at Montrose Hospital on the Western Slope before relocating to Washington State in 1980 where she worked for Olympia Radiological Association and Olympia Arthritis Clinic and retired in 2001 when she moved to Berthoud. She was a proud and devoted member of her P.E.O. sorority for over 50 years.

Shannon is survived by her son Steven Fouse and his wife Ginger of Hyannis, NE; step-daughter Deborah Thompson of San Rafael, CA; son Monty Thompson of Berthoud, CO; and granddaughter Shanna Thompson currently residing in the United Arab Emirates. Shannon is preceded in death by her parents, older brother Howard ""Bud"" Naylor, older sisters Gloria Deanne Beech and Shirley Jean Wineteer, and younger brother Gary Naylor.

A celebration of her life is scheduled to coincide with her birthday on February 11, 2018 at her home in Berthoud beginning at 1 pm. All who knew Shannon are welcome.
