Sharron Baker, 72, died September 9th at her home in Greeley of natural causes. She was born June 4, 1946 in Oakland, California and grew up in Santa Paula, California. She was a long-time resident of Colorado and loved living in the Rocky Mountains.
A former bookkeeper, Mrs. Baker retired following an injury. She loved animals, particularly wolves, and donated to Defenders of Wildlife for over a decade. She enjoyed music, cross-stitch and crafts, puzzles, and spending time with her family and four-legged grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of almost 51 years, Tom, her daughter, Shauna, and son, George; brothers, Bob (Judi) and Kelly and their children and grandchildren; and two step-sons, a step-daughter and their children and grandchildren.
She will be missed by her loving family and numerous friends. Following cremation, her memorial service will be held on Friday, October 5th at 3:00 p.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. A lantern release will follow the service.
In honor of Mrs. Baker’s favorite flower and color, the family asks that if you send flowers, please send carnations or wear purple to the memorial service.
