Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Marlene was such a great lady, so full of life and always so cheerful and love for others.  She will truly be missed.
What is very encouraging to us, was that during her battle her great faith and trust in God.  Truly, this world is not our home, we are just passing through.  She is now with the Lord and that is a great place to be! We celebrate her life here on earth, we miss her greatly now, but will see her again if we have put our faith and trust in Jesus!

Her family moved to our neighborhood when Marlene was about 11 years old.  Over the years  we watched her grow up to be a fun, kind, sweet person.  She was one of the best babysitters we ever had.  I loved seeing and visiting with her at King Soopers over the years. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in Peace dear Marlene.

How do you write a memory of your beloved baby sister who should not have passed away?  

Marlene was full of love and kindness and was the sweetest person.  The sad thing about me being her oldest sister (as she always introduced me) is that I missed out on a lot of her growing up years.  She was 11 when I graduated from high school and the following year I was married and started our new life.  So I just missed a lot of seeing her through her middle and high school years.  We came back to visit, but you just miss so much.  She was always our fun and happy sister. 

When she got sick and we would come up to visit, only then did I find out a lot about my sister.  You see, we think we are always going to have a lot of time to share and do things.  We get so involved in our lives, that we just don't stop and really take the time, because we think we have lots of time.   I wanted more time to spend with her. 
I can't believe she is gone.  The hole in my heart will never heal. 

To Jim and kids, cherish all the memories you have of her.  We can't ever forget her. 

Rest In Peace my dear baby sister.  We love you so very much.

We have prayed constantly and fervently for Marlene and her family, and will continue to ask God for peace and comfort now during another difficult part of this journey. I met Marlene several years ago in book club and loved her immediately.  She was full of life, had a great sense of humor and we all shared many, many great laughs together.  She was a kind, loving woman and I especially loved how much she loved her family.  She had great stories and was always fun  to be with.  I  will miss her tremendously.

We send our most sincere and deepest sympathy to everyone back home as they remember and celebrate the beautiful life of Aunt Marlene. She was the MOST warm and caring person I ever knew. Her spirit was so bright and she had a loving and tender way of making everyone around her feel comfortable, important and loved. She will be so terribly missed but the seeds of love she planted will grow and flourish forever. Much love to everyone.
