Shonna J. Martin

Shonna June Martin, 64, of Windsor, CO went home with the Lord on October 11 , 2017 at her home peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 7, 1953 in Deadwood, SD to Ruth Salas and Edward Hindman.

Shonna grew up in Greeley, CO where she graduated high school and furthered her education by obtaining a degree in Cosmetology. She worked in Eaton, CO at Beauty Haven for several years as a beautician. She also worked as a daycare provider, security guard, and secretary at United Title. Later, Shonna furthered her education and received a Bachelors degree in psychology from Colorado Christian University. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she worked as a hospice counselor. Shonna was a loving mother to three beautiful daughters, Kami Coulombe, LaCasta Duran, and Trina Orr.

She married her loving husband Clifford C. Martin on August 20th, 1988. Their love was truly one of a kind. Shonna loved her music, dancing, cooking, photography, arts, and crafts. Above all, she was very strong in her faith with the Lord. She loved her family dearly and her pride and joy was her 12 extraordinary grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Kami (Mike) Coulombe, LaCasta (Rustie) Duran, Trina Orr, 12 grandchildren, sister Cathy (Jeff) Johnson, brother Alex Salas, sister in-laws Eileen Noeller, Nancy Moore, Norma Pollman, Wanda Troncoso, and brother in-law Dan (Lupe) Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford C. Martin, brothers Jerry Noeller, Dalton Wald, Scotty Noeller, brother in-laws Les Martin, Richard Martin and sister in-law Laura Valdivieso. Shonna will be truly missed.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday, October 20th, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home in Greeley CO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday 21, 2017 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Windsor. Interment Johnstown Cemetery then back to Cornerstone for the reception.
