Sonia’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts well exceed the quantity of time that she was here. Sonia was affectionately known, as a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering care given to all those she encountered.
Those who knew Sonia will remember her for her beautiful soul, infectious smile, overwhelming laughter, being the life of every party, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone. She had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path. Sonia immediately lit up any room she entered. She was a joyful presence with her colorful clothes, beautiful hair, creative fashion choices, and bubbly personality. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her children, family, friends, and many more whose lives she touched. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life suddenly ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Sonia is survived by her loving parents, Juan “Pancho” and Gloria Enriquez, her siblings Eddie Trejo, Norma Estrada, Juan (Daisy) Enriquez, three children Argenis (Brianna), Yesenia (Thomas), and Yadira (Marcos), forever cherished and remembered by her two wonderful grandsons Marciano and Armani. She also leaves behind her spouse Jason, aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews who adored her dearly.
Although Sonia’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of warmth, kindness, love and compassion in all that we do.
Sonia, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
