Dale Stanley Bohner, “Stan”, 68, of Platteville, passed away September 21, 2020, at the UC Health Hospital in Greeley. Stan was born February 23, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas, to George and Elizabeth (Crandall) Bohner.
Stan was a toddler when his family moved to Denver, Colorado. He was a 1970 graduate of Denver South High School. He married Phyllis Tuff and together they raised three sons, David, John and William. He was a dedicated school bus driver for Weld County RE 1, in Gilcrest, and a longtime volunteer for the Colorado Model Railroad Museum.
Stan enjoyed woodworking and hot air ballooning. He was a kind man who knew how to enjoy and appreciate life. He loved spending time with family, especially his sons.
He is survived by his children, David, John, and William Bohner, his brother Jim Bohner, Phyllis Tuff, and two grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Bohner Jr. and Elizabeth Bohner, as well as one grandchild.
