Stephanie Sipres passed away May 3rd surrounded by the ones she loved most. She was born in Greeley on Feb. 4th, 1961 to Helen Martinez and Steve Garcia. She was the oldest of four children, Wendy Garcia, Stephen (Doug) Garcia, and Scott Garcia.
She graduated from Greeley West High in 1979. Before graduating, she was courted by her future husband, Joe Sipres. Soon, the two were married on October 11, 1980. She was a devoted and caring wife during their nearly 43 years of marriage. Becoming a mother was a great source of pride for Stephanie, as they welcomed their first child, Kendra, in 1981. They soon welcomed sons Joey in 1984 and Jordon in 1988.
Stephanie was an involved and dedicated mother to her 3 children, always volunteering at school events and extracurricular activities. In 2013, she took on the cherished role of Grammy to her first grandchild Annalise. In 2017, she welcomed grandson Xander. She loved to spend as much time as possible with her grandkids, taking them on trips and adventures. Tuesdays were known as Grammy day to Xander and Annalise.
Stephanie was passionate about helping others, which was driven by her deep faith in God. Whether it was making homemade meals for those in need or helping family members with events and gatherings, Stephanie was always giving and was there whenever anyone needed her. Her last gift was the gift of life through organ donation, which has changed the lives of many people.
In addition to being a heartfelt giver, she was a talented and passionate floral designer and creator. She worked at a local flower shop for 20 years, before opening her own business in 2022, Thyme and Seasons Flower and Gift Market in Greeley. Within one year, the flower shop has flourished and grown beyond what she could have ever imagined. She loved her employees and every customer that came through the door. She was living her dream for the past year, enjoying every day to its fullest.
She is survived by her husband Joe; father Steve; mother Helen, sister Wendy; brother Doug; daughter Kendra and son in law Jesse; son Joey and daughter in law Emmy; son Jordon; grandchildren Annalise and Xander; and many other loved ones.
