Steven E. Conklin

Steven E. “Steve” Conklin, 63, of Loveland passed away on May 22, 2016. Steve was born on June 5, 1952 in Sheridan, WY to Gene and Clara (Judge) Conklin. He married Cheryl Wiege on January 3, 1976 in Scottsbluff, NE. They have lived in Loveland since 1981.

Steve was a superintendent in the construction field for 40 plus years. Most recently at FCI Constructors. He loved fishing, home projects, “DIY” stuff and to read western novels and solve crossroad puzzles. Steve’s family was number one in his life.

Steve is survived by his wife, Cheryl Conklin of Loveland; son Jonathan Conklin of Arvada; daughter Hilary Conklin of Broomfield; brother Phil (Debbie) Conklin of WY; sisters Debbie (Al) Lautenslager of TX and Marcie (Rick) Williams of WA. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Mike.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland followed by a reception.
