Terry Lynn Kanzler of Fort Morgan, Colorado, passed away November 24, 2020 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. Terry was born August 14, 1958 in Goodland, Kansas to Charles Escudero and Patsy Gresty.
Terry grew up in Kanorado, Kansas and attended Goodland High School, graduating with the class of 1976. She grew up with her sister Stacy Thornburg and brother Clinton Gresty. Terry was divorced from Steve Dalton of Wichita and they had a son, Matthew Dalton. Terry had moved to Fort Morgan where she met and married James Hatch, to this union 2 sons were born: Clifford Hatch of Sterling, CO and Heath Hatch, Fort Morgan, CO. On August 7, 2004, Terry married the love of her life Michael Kanzler in Leadville, Colorado.
Terry was a caring and loving, daughter, sister, wife, mom and grandmother. She was very much a people person, she always lit up the room with her smile, and she was liked by all. She worked in retail for several years and had recently retired four years ago. She enjoyed motorcycle riding and the outdoors, especially visiting Custer State Park. She loved to sew and crocheting. Terry was an animal lover, she adored her dogs and cats.
Preceding her in death was her father, Charles Escudero; grandparents: Leonad & Faith Compton; Orval & Marie DeLong; step brothers: John Gresty Jr and James Gresty and step sister Jeannette Davenport.
She is survived by her husband, Michael, Fort Morgan, CO; and her 3 sons, Clifford Hatch, Sterling, CO; Heath Hatch, Fort Morgan, CO; Matthew Dalton and a step daughter, Rebecca Miller. She is survived by her grandchildren: Courtney Hatch, True, Hanna and Nealy Miller. She is also survived by her mom, Patsy {John E} Gresty, Goodland, KS; sister, Stacy {Neal} Thornburg, Goodland, KS, and brothers, Clinton {Kristy} Gresty, Dodge City, KS; Charles Escudero, Jr.; Nieces and nephew: Chantel Thornburg, Ellis, KS; Sydnee Thornburg, Dallas, TX; Jerzie Tompkins, Goodland, KS, Caleb Gresty, Dodge City, KS and many other nieces and nephews.
A Private memorial service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Greeley, CO.
