Tom was born on January 25, 1947 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to William and Pauline (Dittmar) Morris. He graduated from William Allen High School and was a self proclaimed hippy of the 60's. He later worked as a technician for Western Union in Allentown and later in California. In 1988, Tom moved to Colorado, where he worked for EFTC and McCloud before retiring.
Tom was a very independent person who lived life on his own terms and did things his way. He had a lifelong love of cars and motorcycles. When he was young, he owned a GTO, and throughout his life he enjoyed owning Corvettes. He also had a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Tom especially loved his dogs, Ziggy, Harley, Wolfie, and Rocky. They were an important part of his life, and Ziggy was definitely his sidekick.
Tom is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Don Adams; his cousin, Bonnie Stauffer; and Bonnie’s children, Judy Sanders (Glen) and Matt Stauffer (Debbie).
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pauline Morris, and his cousin, Ron Stauffer.
A Celebration of life will be held on August 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at West Fort Village Clubhouse, 5775 29th Street, Greeley, CO, 80634.
