

Tim grew up in Greeley, attending Greeley schools. He graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1970. After graduation, he worked for School District 6 maintenance.
In 1972, Tim married Debbie Baker at Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley. They later divorced. On October 28, 1977, he married Kathleen Haskett at the First United Methodist Church in Greeley. They later divorced, but remained close.
Tim was a member of the National Hot Rod Association. He loved to ride his 1980 Harley Shovelhead and go riding with his friends. He worked for Danny and Delbert Kendall at Kendall Automotive, where he helped with car projects; many were race cars and performance trucks. He loved drag racing and his passion was building race cars.
Tim loved model cars, horses, pencil drawing art and animals of all kinds. He was a perfectionist at any endeavor. He collected old toys, models and Hot Wheels.
Tim loved and was proud of his children and cherished his grandchildren. He had a big heart.
Tim is survived by his soulmate, Kathleen Bopp of Eaton; daughter, Kandyce Bopp of Eaton; son, Chris Bopp (Hollie) of Loveland; father, Johnny Bopp of Eaton; sister, Trudy Meis (Michael) of Greeley; brother, Thomas Bopp of Greeley; three grandchildren, Briana Troudt and Skylar Bopp both of Loveland and Mason Reeves of Eaton; niece, Holly Meis-Peters (Andrew) of Greeley and nephew, Daniel Meis (Brandy Delmar) of Ft. Lupton.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Stoddard Funeral Home. A reception will follow from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Pioneer Post 2121, VFW, 2514 7th Avenue, Greeley.
