Tomasa married Cipriano Najera Ruiz and the two lived in Mexico where they raised 14 children.
Tomasa is survived by 14 children, Maria Elena (Jose) Moreno, Jose (Maria Dela Luz) Najera, Ramon (Maria) Najera, Jesus Manuel (Emma) Najera, Maria Dela Paz, Lazaro (Olivia) Najera, Olivia Najera, Socorro (Benjamin) Ponce De Leon, Cipriano (Maria Teresa) Najera, Gila (Roberto) Cano, Alfonso Najera, Myrna Najera, Leobardo (Lucy) Noe, Maria Eugenia Najera, brother, Juan Quintana, 49 grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Jesus Manuel and Lorenzo Quintana, sister, Julia Quintana, one son-in-law, Ernesto Miramontes and one daughter-in-law, Concepcion Najera.
