From 1960 until 1968, he worked for the Colorado National Guard as an Air Traffic Control and Warning Technician at the Buckley Air National Guard Base in Aurora, Longmont, and Greeley. In 1968, he worked for the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) as an Air Traffic Controller in Longmont until his retirement as a supervisor in 1988.

He enjoyed extensive travel with family and friends, along with playing golf and pinochle. His kind and generous spirit was appreciated by all, and everyone who knew him became his friend. Vic’s charm, intelligence, and humor made it easy for others to feel at ease. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
