

He was born March 23, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa to Albert Clifton Housman and Emma Marie (Sanders) Tully. He married Constance “Connie” Hanson and they lived briefly on the east coast and in northwest Iowa, before settling in Greeley in 1972 to make their home and raise their children.
He spent many years driving throughout the United States for Monfort of Colorado and then five years as an owner-operator before spending the last 12 years of his driving career with Northwest Trucking out of Denver. In 1996 he suffered a back injury which forced him to accept early retirement.
He has a great love and appreciation for old cars and enjoyed going to car shows where he greeted them like old friends. He enjoyed his family, friends, including pets, music and favorite television shows.
He is survived by his former wife, Connie Kevorkian of Greeley; children, Mark Tully, Laura (Doug) Quarnberg and Valerie (Shannon) Gerton all of Greeley; a brother John Tully of Des Moines; and eight grandchildren, Alexander, Taylor, Madison and Alexis Quarnberg, Tyler, Aubrianna and Emmarie Propp and Chase and Christopher Gerton.
His parents and a sister Laura Marie Tully preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
