

William C. Lambert, or “Bill” as he was known to his family and friends, passed away in his home in Loveland on August 7, 2015 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; his parents, Norman and Ethel Lambert of Belvidere, New Jersey; and his sister, Linda Geyer of Long Island, New York. Bill is survived by his sister, Marcia Stieh of Port Murray, New Jersey; his children, Lisa Felipa of Sunnyvale, California; Kenneth Lambert of Fort Collins, Colorado; and his six grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Ashley, Alexandra, Lindsay and Hunter.
Bill was born in Detroit, Michigan and later moved with his family to Freeport, New York. After high school, Bill joined the Navy and spent his tour in Great Lakes, Illinois where he met his wife, Darlene. Bill and Darlene eventually settled in New Jersey.
Bill was a long time resident of New Jersey, but moved to Loveland eleven years ago. Bill enjoyed volunteering as a driver for Meals-on-Wheels and SAINT, as well as ushering at All Saints’ Episcopal Church. Bill became an avid cyclist and enjoyed a biking holiday in France before his illness. Bill also enjoyed working with stained glass and often made window pieces for his family and friends.
Family and friends of Bill are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, August 14 from 7-9 p.m. at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland. Funeral services will be held at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Loveland on Saturday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SAINT in Loveland in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
