I had the pleasure of going to the clubs in Austin that Lynx played in and Winfred was so talented and kind and I was glad to have known him back then.

This is LYNX in the 70's,  of course, Winfred was in the front. He was a wonderful musician. This is one of my unforgettable   memories.

Winfred added more to my life than I can ever explain.  Our adventures could fill a 3 volume set and still not cover it all.  Sleep well, my friend, you left the world better than you found it.

I met Winfred through Doc Sandifer. I was truly humbled by Winfred’s opinion of my guitar playing. I was blown away when I heard him play Riders in the Storm. He nailed it and he didn’t need a band. He was amazing! 
He genuinely liked me as a player and as a person. We became good friends playing with the Dorcheat Bottom Band and with the Gnarly Brothers. We played some good gigs like the Sucker Punch Sally Rally and Mardi Gras Balls.  Very enjoyable times. I remember he would always end our conversations by saying “and remember Elvis loves you!” I will always cherish our friendship and memories together. I’ll see you on the other side my Brother❤️🎸❤️🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽

Win was such a good cousin and friend! You could talk to him about anything, and he would help you anyway he could! He missed his son and wonderful mother and dad, and I’m so happy they are together now! Rip brother!

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Your dad and I when to school together in Mansfield, I’ve haven’t seen him in years, however Facebook we kept in touch. He certainly loved music and was good. May God give strength to everyone during these difficult times.🙏

My dad was always my rock star! He's always been my reason for music and being a musician, without him I would not have been so fortunate to have had my life but I would not have gotten the gift and the same love for music he did.
I know with music my father made a massive impact on so many lives not just mine alone and for that he will be greatly missed. 
My father was amazing and i will miss him very very much but i know he is in heaven with Dylan my twin, Mamaw and Papaw and Jesus! I love you

Prayer for Cameron-Ashley-Bryan Ramsey. May God give y’all comfort and peace in your heart. Cherish and hold all the sweet memories in your heart.  You all were loved.  I will hold my memories  of him in my heart to. He was a good Man♥️. Prayers
