He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. Bud met the love of his life, Bonnie Muenchau, at her family’s restaurant, Danny’s Café, where she worked as a waitress. He would tease her while she worked and would often walk out without paying his bill, only to return the next day to pay just so he could see her again. On August 25, 1950, Bud and Bonnie were married in Loveland, CO.
He worked as a carpenter for over 35 years until he retired. Bud was a good ol’ country boy and enjoyed the outdoors, picnics, farming, country western music and he especially loved fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Matthew White, a granddaughter, Carrie Van Cleave and a great grandson, Judah Bustamante. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Bonnie, four daughters; Lori (Abe) Bustamante, Becky Crawford, Diane (Randy) DeHerrera, and Kathy (Jeff Waddell) Van Cleave, eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Bud will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
