Andrew "Andy" Lee Cox, 60, of Fillmore, Indiana, passed peacefully at home with family at his side on October 23, 2025. Born on May 4, 1965, in Greencastle, Andy was the beloved son of the late Jerry and Karen Cox.
Andy dedicated over 40 years of his life to Dixie Chopper, where his strong work ethic, reliability, and quiet sense of humor made him a respected and valued colleague. Outside of work, Andy's greatest joys were simple and heartfelt-spending time at car shows with his daughter, London Grace Cox, and relaxing on the water with a fishing pole in hand. He enjoyed large family gatherings, full of good food, euchre, and children's laughter.
A proud and devoted father, Andy's love for his daughter was the guiding light of his life. -His pride in her accomplishments and the person she has become was immeasurable. Those who knew Andy will remember his gentle spirit, patient nature, and the warm smile that could light up any room. He was not only a loving father, brother, and uncle, but also a kind neighbor and loyal friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Andy is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Karen Cox. He is survived by his beloved daughter, London Grace Cox, her mother, SueAnn Cox, his three brothers, Tony Cox (Stephanie Cox), Alex Cox (Dusty Cox) and Aaron Cox (Jan Hartman-Meyers); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews who will cherish his memory.
Andy's life was one marked by quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and deep love for family. Although he will be profoundly missed, we take great comfort in knowing Andy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and is now at peace in his heavenly home. -His earthly journey may have ended, but his faith, kindness, and love will continue to shine through all who knew him and we rejoice in the promise that we will see him again one day.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Soul Harvest Church in Cloverdale, Indiana, on Thursday, October 30th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather together to share memories and laughter in honor of Andy's life. Following the service, a graveside committal will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
